NEKOCRAB 2026
I built the NEKROCRAB as a fun way to dive deeper into robotics and hardware. It’s a 4-legged robot powered by an ESP32 and a servo shield that controls eight different motors to get it moving. To give it some personality, I added a small OLED screen that cycles through three different facial expressions depending on what it's doing. It can walk forward and turn both ways, but my favorite parts are the emotes I programmed: it can give a friendly wave and even shake its butt for a laugh. This project really shows how I like to combine serious engineering with a bit of creativity and fun.
